Electric motor scissors are used for cutting concrete reinforcement iron of diameter up to 32 mm. 
It is propelled by 3 kW electromotor with 3000 r/min, which transmits drive to the massive flywheel. The gears set transmits the drive further to the cam shaft that drives the movable plate with the knife. Fixed knife is mounted on the machine chassis. Cutting is switched on by the clutch mechanism. The machine is mobile and easily movable, so it can be easy removed from one place to another. This is especially suitable for store houses and construction sites. 
One cutting cycle lasts about 2 seconds.
